Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by a our representative, who will brief and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for overnight.
After breakfast, we will drive you to Manyara National Park, which will take about 1.5 hours. On the way, you will have the opportunity to visit a Maasai Market. Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird life, with more than 400 species have been recorded. If you are lucky, you will have opportunity to see tree climbing lions. After the late afternoon after game viewing, you will be escorted to your accommodation for overnight.
After breakfast, we will drive to the Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation area. You will have the opportunity to see the scenery around the crater with its multiple land usages. Maasai with their livestock graze in this protected area. You will have the opportunity to visit Maasai bomas and experience their rich culture and tradition which includes singing and dancing. Late in the afternoon you will be driven to your accommodation for overnight.
After breakfast, you will have a full day of game viewing on the Serengeti Plains. You will have the opportunity to explore the Serengeti’s endless plains and rich wildlife that contains: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, rhino and African hunting dog.
After breakfast at daybreak, you will start early on your outward journey from the Serengeti back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, leaving behind the beautiful Seronera Valley. Lunch will be taken en-route at a designated picnic spot. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide variety of birds, hyenas and the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard. At the end of today’s game drive you will be transferred to your lodge for overnight.
After breakfast, we start out journey back to Arusha, where we will drop you at your hotel in preparation for flight home.
